Guess it's no coincidence the "maui wowie" sushi roll is one of my favorites! I've only been here a few hours, but I'm already enamored by the beauty of the island. I arrived yesterday for what is sure to be a spectacular, as well as a spectacularly intense, month long training camp in Hawaii.
I was picked up at the airport by Linsey Corbin and Brent McMahon, two of my LifeSport commrades and training partners for the next few weeks worth of sufferfests. After a quick bike build, I was off for a little ride to spin out my plane legs, followed by a light (though not as light as if I'd gone solo!) T run with Linsey. The ocean vistas are absolutely breathtaking.

We are staying in the quaint town of Paia, a fishing village, that boasts some awesome restaurants--dinner was salad with a huge ahi tuna steak and shrimp for $13. I think I'm gonna like this place.
YES!! AWESOME you are a blogger... LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteSo wish I was training with you, bummers you aren't here yet... soon enough! Enjoy Maui, enjoy the awesome island and fun training...
